Shula Ramon, Professor of Interprofessional Health and Social Studies, has been awarded the Katherine Kendall Award for best contribution to International Social Work by the International Association of the Schools of Social Work (IAASW). The award will be presented with a citation at the general assembly of the forthcoming international congress of the association in July 2008 in Durban, South Africa.

Social Work in the context of Political Conflict, edited by Professor Ramon, will also be launched at the conference.
