At the end of May, 47 delegates from the Association of Indonesian Nurse Education Center (AINEC) visited the Faculty of Health & Social Care at our Chelmsford campus. The AINEC delegation was led by Professor Elly Nurochmah and set up in collaboration with Robert Priharjo and Katherine Maloney from the Faculty.

During the day, presentations were delivered by the Faculty on the structure of nursing education in the UK, the structure of postgraduate education in the UK, research opportunities and international collaboration with the Postgraduate Medical Institute (PMI) and a introduction to Broomfield hospital.

Professor Nurochmah also delivered a presentation on AINEC and nursing in Indonesia. The delegates, which covered all of the nursing centres in Indonesian, finished their visit with a tour of the William Harvey Building and the PMI.
