FHSC nursing student in top 10
A Faculty of Health and Social Care student has a achieved one of the highest overall marks in the country in A Level Health and Social Care.
The results, which were issued by Edexcel, showed that Hannah Wilson who is now studying nursing at Fulbourn was in the top 10 of 1,932 pupils that sat the exam in summer 2007.
Hannah said:
"I tried my best in the exam but I wasn't expecting to get another two As like last year, let alone be in the top 10, so I was quite shocked."
Karen Adcock, Hannah's teacher said:
"For Hannah to be in the top 10 is amazing, but she was a very conscientious pupil. The course work she produced was beyond A level - it was more like first year degree level work."
