International Nursing Studies

Advance your career with one of our International Nursing Studies courses, with an option to complete the overseas nursing programme (ONP).

At Anglia Ruskin University we offer an BSc & MSc (Hons) in International Nursing Studies with an option for you to include the ONP within one of these courses.

Successfully complete the ONP as part of our BSc (Hons) or MSc in International Nursing Studies and register to work in the UK as a registered nurse for the NHS and the private sector.

Our ONP is an integrated part of our BSc (Hons) and MSc in International Nursing Studies. This means that students can now gain an undergraduate or masters degree in International Nursing Studies and obtain registration with the National Midwifery Council (NMC) to work in the UK. During each of these 1 year full-time courses, students will have the option of undertaking the ONP and this will involve 400 hours of supervised practice placement.

Once you have successfully completed either the 1 year BSc (Hons) or MSc in International Nursing Studies with the ONP and have registered with the NMC in the UK you will be free to seek employment as a nurse in the UK. A full list of current vacancies for Nurses within the NHS can be found by visiting the NHS website.

Anglia Ruskin University is one of the first universities in the country to have met the Nursing and Midwifery Council's new pre-registration nursing education standards. This reflects the dedication shown by both staff and students within the faculty, and highlights their passion for innovation and improving patient care.

Scholarship
