Outline of Career

Sarah has previously been a Local Authority Teacher and Advisor for Behaviour Management in Essex, working in 16 schools. She delivered County training and supported individual children and teachers.

Sarah has experience working as a primary school teacher, teaching year one through to year six. She held the position of Science co-ordinator/ leader and was part of the SENCO team within a large primary school.

Sarah is currently studying for an EdDoc (Doctorate of Education) at Brunel University.

Research Interests

Sarah is currently researching educational provisions for 'Looked After Children' (LAC) and the issues that Professionals' have in relation to this for the EdDoc.

She is a Department of Education research group member (Emerging Identities) and a Faculty of Health, Social Care & Education group member (LAC).
