General Experience

After a variety of experiences as a teacher including a year in Norway, running a 52-place nursery class and working in the nursery assessment unit of a large special school, Sara moved into teacher and training others.

Initially this was principally in the Further Education sector, but always included Higher Education modules, and in time Sara moved to entirely Higher Education work. She has been at Anglia Ruskin University since 2007, latterly in the role described above.


Research Interests

The development of Forest School in the UK has given Sara the opportunity to pull together her interest in the environment with her interest in early years education and the development of communication, as can be seen from her list of publications below.
