Outline of career

I qualified as a social worker in 1997 in Romania, and I have worked in the field of international adoptions, before coming to Anglia Ruskin University on a European academic exchange programme in 1999. I later enrolled on a part-time PhD programme undertaking research with young people leaving public residential care in Romania. Since 2004 I have been working at Anglia Ruskin as a researcher doing research mainly in social work education (meaningful learning and Concept Mapping; exploring 'self' in social work education; service users and carers' involvement)
