Outline of career
Patricia qualified in 1986 from Glasgow University and has a clinical background in Orthopaedic Nursing.She has now worked in Nurse Education for 20 years. Patricia has several roles in Nursing education, including BSc / Dip Programme Leader for Orthopaedic Nursing (1998-2003) and Pathway leader Adult Nursing (Extended Programme) in 2007. Patricia is now Pathway leader for the MSc Nursing (Adult) since 2010 and is actively involved in Service Users initiatives.
Research Interest
Patricia's research interests are around:The clinical experiences of student nurses with dyslexia, The career progression experiences of registered nurses with dyslexia, Assessment and feedback, The impact of service user involvement on education and clinical practice of health care practitioners.
