Outline of Career

He undertook nurse training in 1979, specialising in intensive care in 1986 and commenced teaching career in 1991. He has now specialised in teaching anatomy and physiology to a wide variety of students, and has also developed teaching in research methods.

Research Interest

He is currently undertaking a research degree (MPhil, with the possibility of transferring to PhD) looking at anatomy and physiology text books and the decisions students make when choosing texts to support their learning in anatomy and physiology. Also he has interest in sensory deprivation and overload in critically ill patients, and HIV and AIDS.
