Outline of career

Prior to being appointed as Senior Lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University I was Review Manager, Safeguarding and Standards Unit with Cambridgeshire County Council, responsible for chairing and coordinating inter-professional safeguarding decision-making reviews, including quality assurance and auditing function. I have more than twenty years post qualifying work experience at practice, supervisory, and managerial levels in both, statutory and non-statutory settings in the UK and abroad.

My current and future research interests include:

• Inter-professional collaborative safeguarding decision-making
• Quality improvement in social care
• Integrating business and social care models
• Children's Rights
