Career
After training at the Isle of Man Centre for Nurse Education Lesley qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1991. He then gained clinical experience in general medicine and critical care in London (Royal London Hospital, Newham General Hospital, Charing Cross Hospital and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital) and Cambridge (Paediatric ICU, John Farman ICU and Transplant ICU). In 1997, Lesley joined the Academic Neurosurgery Unit at the University of Cambridge where he worked on several large research studies and as part of the Cambridge Coma Study Group. In 2003 he joined the Faculty of Health, Social Care and Education at Anglia Ruskin University. Leslie is also the Director of Research for the Faculty.Other current positions and responsibilities include:
