Outline of career

My early career specialised in therapeutic interventions practicing in the NHS and private sector. Subsequently, my experience has ranged from acute admission services (including drug and alcohol detoxification) through to clinical governance and project management. Following a more flexible relationship with the University, I pursued my interest in teaching and research when I joined the department permanently in 2002.
