Outline of career

Dave has experience as working as a mental health nurse in therapeutic community settings, family therapy teams, acute in- patient mental health care and as a community Mental Health Nurse. He undertook training at The KCC in London in Systemic Therapy and at the IGA in group psychodynamic psychotherapy but his major qualifications and experiences are in Solution Focused approaches to mental health care specialising in it's application "Psychosis". He trained in America with the model's originator Steve De Shazer and has been awarded for innovation for his work introducing this approach to NHS settings. His masters dissertation was on what helps with voice hearing and he is studying a PhD in the miracle question from SFBT.
