Outline of career

Sally worked in social care settings with adults, children and young people, before qualifying in 2000. She then worked in children and young people's services as a Social Worker, Participation Officer and manager.

Sally is currently on secondment from Cambridgeshire County Council to teach on the Social Work course. She combines her role as a manager in children and young people's service with a part time lecturing role at Anglia Ruskin University.

Research Interests

Sally has just started her Professional Doctorate. Her area of research is Looked After young people who are staying in their foster care placement, as part of the 'Staying Put' scheme.
