Outline of career

Lindsey worked as an acupuncturist running her own practice in Brighton until she married in 1995 and moved to Suffolk. Here she worked for the Department of Justice, initially as a Court Clerk in Family Court and then as a Human Resources Officer until 2005 when she commenced her Midwifery degree.

Lindsey worked as a midwife for a little over three years where she focused on supporting students and taking on a teaching role. Following this she was seconded to Anglia Ruskin University as part of the midwifery teaching team and in March 2013 she was successful in obtaining a full-time midwifery lecturer's role.


Research Interests

Lindsey is currently undertaking the final module in her Masters in Healthcare Education and is researching the experiences of newly qualified midwives during their first year of practice.
