Outline of career

Linda Homan considers herself principally a youth worker as her previous volunteer and professional career has focused on work with young people. Her posts include Youth Work Manager, Young Carers Development Manager, Youth Funding Coordinator and Residential Children's Home Manager.

Linda has also worked for many years with street outreach and homeless hostels in Cambridge and been a Trustee of Wintercomfort and supporter of Cambridge Cyrenians and FLACK.

Linda currently works for Cambridgeshire County Council's Emergency Duty Social Work Team part time alongside being Senior Lecturer in Social Work here at Anglia Ruskin University.


Research Interests

Linda is currently finishing her PhD. This research focused on the health inequalities regarding smoking amongst young people in Essex.
