Courses
Kemoh is course leader for the BSc (Hons) Public Health.He teaches mainly on the MSc and BSc Public Health courses. His teaching areas include health promotion, Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) including HIV/AIDS and Economic Evaluation of Healthcare.
He is a link lecturer with Southend Hospital. He also teaches on undergraduate and postgraduate nursing and midwifery courses.
Outline of career
Kemoh has worked as Field Agronomist in the production of fruits and vegetables.He worked as general nurse and nurse specialist in HIV/STIs. He was a visiting lecturer with City University in London before taking up full time senior lecturer position with Anglia Ruskin University in 2010.
Research Interests
His research interests include the experiences of people living with discordant chronic infections (where only one partner is infected). He is particularly interested in grounded theory methodology informed by pragmatism and symbolic interactionism.Kemoh is also interested in research studies in economic evaluation of healthcare programs including financing, distribution and access to healthcare.
Selected Publications
Kemoh has done a series of national and international conference presentations. He has written information on the care and management of people living with HIV in Genitourinary Medicine Clinics.As study day executive officer for the National HIV Nurses Association (NHIVNA), Kemoh has made regular contributions in the NHIVNA newsletter.
He is in the process of submitting an article for publication titled "Gestalt as methodology to explore the new meanings and consequences of people living in serodiscordant relationships"
