Outline of Career

After completing a PGCE, Debra taught in Infant and Nursery classes in Essex with responsibility for Information Technology, Mathematics and Teaching Assistant development. Since joining Anglia Ruskin, Debra has worked across schools in the East of England supporting the use of ICT, developed, lead and delivered programmes of training for classroom support staff and early years practitioners, including the development of Foundation degrees within the sector.

Debra is now Director of Mpowernet providing a strategic lead for programmes of training and development across the education sector with a portfolio including programmes for the health and social care sectors since the merged Faculty of Health, Social Care & Education in 2011.
