What is the right public health course for me?
The faculty provide a range of courses suitable for both registered health practitioners and others interested in the subject of public health. All international students will be required to give evidence of skills in written and in oral English (IELT 6.5).
Those with basic undergraduate entry requirements can either undertake the FdSc Public Health (if they are in relevant work settings) or the BSc Public Health if they are international students or others wanting a non-practice route.
Community nurses with diploma level nursing qualifications or international students with an ordinary degree and little practice experience would be able to enter the BSc courses at level 3 and study for one year for an honours degree and would have sufficient academic credit for entry into the MSc Public Health.
Direct entry to the MSc Public Health requires applicants with undergraduate honours degrees or international students with an ordinary degree and relevant practice experience.
