ALSS Welcomes New Deputy Deans
The Faculty of Arts, Law and Social Sciences are pleased to welcome two new members of staff to join the Faculty's Management Team.
Both Dr Apurba Kundu and Dr Andy Salmon took up their appointments as Deputy Deans on July 1st 2009.
Formerly Associate Dean for Learning and Teaching in the Faculty of Informatics, Computing and Media at the University of Bradford, Dr Apurba Kundu joins ALSS as Deputy Dean with responsibility for Academic Development.
Dr Andy Salmon will lead the Faculty's development in Partnerships and Enterprise. Andy joins us from Norwich City College where he was previously Head of the School of Creative Arts.
Welcoming our new colleagues, Dean and Pro Vice Chancellor, Derrik Ferney, said: 'I am delighted that Andy and Apurba have joined the Faculty of Arts, Law and Social Sciences. We look forwarding to working with them and utilising their expertise to enhance the Faculty's national and international standing.'
Andy and Apurba look forward to meeting new colleagues over the forthcoming academic year.
