ALSS successes in Vice Chancellor's awards

Dr Sam Rayner
David Ryan
Congratulates to both Dr Samantha Rayner, MA Publishing pathway leader, and David Ryan, Cambridge School of Art Reader, on their brilliant success in winning prizes in this year's Anglia Ruskin University Vice Chancellor's awards.

The publishing team and Dr Rayner have worked hard to make a major success of the MA Publishing degree, which launched in September 2009. The course was designed in collaboration with partners from the publishing industry and around 30 strongly supportive companies are now connected with it.

David Ryan has worked consistently to develop opportunities for CSA students to exhibit beyond the campus publicly in Cambridge. His initiative led the City Council to develop the Changing Spaces programme of changing temporary art exhibitions in empty shops and storefronts.

Anglia Ruskin Vice Chancellor Professor Michael Thorne will present the Awards at the annual University Garden Party in June.
