Sue teaches both theoretical and practical modules on the undergraduate Drama and Performing Arts pathways. She joined the Department in September 2000 as Lecturer in Drama, having previously taught at the University of Nottingham. Her teaching and research interests are in twentieth-century drama and literature (particularly Samuel Beckett's plays and prose), postmodernism and critical theory.

She is keen to supervise research in the areas of:
  • Samuel Beckett's plays or prose
  • Contemporary Drama
  • Critical Theory
