QCF CELTA Funding

We are pleased to announce that the Skills Funding Agency has added QCF CELTA (accredited from January 2011) to their list of qualifications confirmed for public funding, in the Adult Learner Responsive category.

For more information or an application form for our CELTA course please contact Mary O'Leary (Course leader).
The Cambridge Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA) is an initial qualification for people with little or no previous teaching experience and opens up a whole world of exciting teaching opportunities. Because it is awarded by Cambridge ESOL, part of the world-famous University of Cambridge, you can rely on its quality and recognition.

Our CELTA course is delivered part-time over a period of two Semesters. It is available to external applicants, including non-degree students, subject to a successful interview and availability of places, but also runs as part of the second year of the BA (Hons) English Language Teaching degrees.

Course dates for 2012-13:

Semester 1: Monday 24 September - Friday 14 December 2012
Semester 2: Monday 28 January - Friday 10 May 2013 (Easter Holiday: Monday 25 March - Friday 12 April 2013)
