Anglia Ruskin University Language Centre (ARULC) provides training and courses to students, staff and the general public.
Core to ARULC's activities are our English as a Foreign Language (EFL) courses. EFL provides English Language training which can be accessed by anyone wishing to improve their English Language skills, especially those wanting to study a degree at university.

We also offer a comprehensive range of Academic and Professional Skills support modules for both our undergraduate and our postgraduate students.
Additionally, we are passionate about language learning and specialise in offering a range of foreign languages through the Anglia Language Programme (ALP). Languages currently on offer are French, German, Italian, Russian, Spanish, Chinese, and Japanese. These are available to our students and anyone wanting to learn a second language.
The Language Centre is a friendly and welcoming place with open-access digital materials and online language resources, alongside a selection of books and journals.
