"After completing the Graduate Diploma in Law I wanted to return to Cambridge as I was born there and have strong local connections. I wanted to practice in the region but had placed all my efforts into study and had not applied for training contracts.

"The LPC is a fast-paced course that starts as it means to go on. Whilst this can be slightly daunting at first, at Anglia Ruskin this is greatly helped by the supportive and approachable staff. The tutors have great experience of what life is like in legal practice, which is always very useful in helping one to see the long term goal.

"Choosing Anglia Ruskin over a larger provider means I have received a much more hands-on learning experience through small group workshops, which has certainly helped my understanding and means any problems with a particular topic can be resolved as they arise. The facilities are excellent; there are designated LPC rooms, a common room and a computer room, which are all very useful... this course is vital in helping to convert what is learnt at undergraduate level to something applicable to everyday legal scenarios, and hopefully now I am as ready as I can be to start an eagerly awaited Training Contract!"
