Diana Reid qualified as a solicitor in 1992 after training at a large City law firm. She remained with the firm on qualification and specialised in employment law for 3 years before a posting to the firm's Singapore office where she worked on general commercial/company matters. She returned to the London office in 2000 and practised again in employment law (contentious and non-contentious) for a further 6 years. She has contributed to many publications on employment law issues and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.

On the Legal Practice Course Diana teaches Professional Conduct, Business Law and Practice, Employment Law and legal/professional core skills.

As well as teaching on the LPC she also undertakes consultancy work for LexisNexis on their online Employment PSL product and contributes to other LexisNexis publications on an occasional basis.
