The following articles, book review and case note all analyse contemporary issues in international sports law. Anglia Ruskin University has long enjoyed an international reputation for sports law research and, through its Sports Law Unit, has links with other sports law institutions and sports governing bodies throughout the world.

Researching sports law is exciting and challenging. It spans a broad range of subjects and links naturally with other academic disciplines. It requires not only a good understanding of the law but also a critical knowledge of sports regulation, politics and business and how they interact. The material below is challenging and sometimes controversial. We hope it will engage the reader and stimulate their desire to learn more above this fascinating area of legal study.
