Professor Rob Home attended the Inner Temple's annual dinner for legal academics, held at the Inner Temple Hall in London on 6 November 2012, along with leading barristers and heads of chambers.

Rob also sang with the London Philharmonic Choir at a charity fund-raising concert on 19 October, attended by many barristers in the Middle Temple Hall, the country's finest surviving Elizabethan hall, where Shakespeare's Twelfth Night was first performed before Queen Elizabeth I in 1602.
