Sports Law Professor visits Anglia Ruskin University
Eminent sports law professor Dr JP Rossouw, from North West University, South Africa, visited the Law School on the 13th and 14th of March as part of his whistle-stop tour of the UK. Anglia Ruskin University is a focal point for international sports law academics due to its long-standing reputation for excellence in sports law teaching and research.
On the 13th he gave a fascinating lecture to the Sport Law undergraduates at Cambridge, entitled 'Legal Issues in School Sport, with Special Reference to Delictual Liability of Educator-Coaches in South Africa.' On the 14th Professor Rossouw had meetings in the Law School to explore the possibility of future collaborative research before heading to Manchester with Anglia Ruskin Law School staff to present sports law papers at the Socio-Legal Studies Association Annual Conference.
