Chelmsford Law Fair success

Michelle McCanna and students at the Law Fair
A very successful Law Fair was held on the Chelmsford campus on the afternoon of 13 February 2012, organised by Sarah Kempster, Employability Coordinator in Student Services with support from LPC Course Leader Michele McCanna and LPC Course Directo Louise McKeon.

The Fair was attended by both LLB and Legal Practice Course students, who had the opportunity to speak to and gain valuable advice and information from representatives of a number of prestigious solicitors' firms and the Bar Council. LawCareers.net, a comprehensive online resource for future lawyers and recruiters, were also present to give advice to undergraduates wishing to qualify as solicitors, as were our own LPC tutors.

This was the first ever law fair held at Anglia Ruskin. A similar event is planned for Cambridge in 2012-13, with a view to holding an annual Law Fair on both campuses.
