Anglia Law School launches Cambridge Careers Day
Nearly a hundred people packed into David Building on the afternoon of Monday 21 March to attend the inaugural Anglia Law School Cambridge Law Careers Day, targeted at all Cambridge Anglia Law School students.
The speakers ranged from Charles Stavely, a senior partner at Mills and Reeve, through to young trainee solicitors such as Vicki Clark of the regional commercial law firm Prettys and recent graduate of the Legal Practice Course at Anglia Ruskin. The 11 speakers all gave short addresses about their working lives before allowing students a chance to quiz them about their profession. Also attending were speakers from various legal publishers, Cambridge University Press and the Cambridgeshire constabulary.
We now hope to hold further successful Careers Days in the future.
