Anglia students experience law Stateside
Everyone's expectations were exceeded on the recent study trip to Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Ten Anglia Ruskin law students spent two exciting weeks in the Sunshine State accompanied by lecturers Sheila Byrne and Andrew Gilbert. The students spent the first week experiencing life as American law students by attending classes, visiting courts, (where Judge Levenson extended the old colonial cousins a warm welcome - see photo to the right), and attending a reception at a leading law firm. The group also toured the impressive library facilities, got to meet Nova law students and were baffled, but entertained, by an evening spent watching the university baseball team in action.
The second week was an opportunity to take a break from studies and students toured the impressive sights of southern Florida: Miami, the everglades and the keys.
