Anglia Law Students win National Client Interviewing Competition, and achieve second place at International level
The National Client Interviewing Competition was hosted by the Anglia Law School at the new Faculty Building in Chelmsford over the weekend of 28th February - 1st March. For the third year in a row, Anglia Ruskin's own law students emerged triumphant, setting a record for Welsh and English Universities of six wins in total.
The students are coached by Lindsey Squire, who commented: 'Anglia Ruskin University has developed a national reputation for teaching client interviewing techniques, and as a result we have many top level candidates in terms of interviewing and counselling who are currently on our Legal Practice (LPC) course. We focus heavily on these skills as they are an essential requirement for any aspiring solicitor.'
Particular thanks must go to Lindsey, as well as Melissa Hudson, Linda Murkin and Alan Golding for helping with the organisation and to all law staff who participated.
The team have recently followed this up with an excellent performance at the International competition in Las Vegas, where they finished in joint second-place with Russia. The USA won first place.
