Abi Hunt is the Course Leader for Archaeology and Landscape History, and lectures on several of the compulsory modules offered.

Abi Hunt graduated in 1998 from Liverpool University with a BA (Hons) in Archaeology, she then went on to receive a Postgraduate Diploma in Heritage Studies from Nottingham Trent University in 2002, and since 2004 has been a part-time PhD candidate at the University of Lincoln. Abi's PhD research focuses on agricultural change in Lincolnshire during the mid to late twentieth century, effects on rural culture and the representation of these causes and effects in the County's museums.

Abi has presented papers at several international conferences over the last eighteen months and is currently developing an article for publication examining the shared experiences of twentieth century female farmers and labourers in Lincolnshire and the American Midwest. She also has extensive experience in the Heritage and Tourism sector, having worked on archaeological excavations and museum and tourism development projects in Lincolnshire and East Anglia. She holds associate membership of the Museums Association and Association of Project Managers.
