Caroline Jaine is Lecturer on the MA International Relations course. Caroline served as a British diplomat for 15 years and has worked in and visited close to 40 countries. She has published over 100 articles for news agencies, magazines and has been a guest blogger for The World Bank for a number of years. Her co-written article on UK-Pakistan communications was published in the Hague Journal of Diplomacy in 2012 and her book about her time in Iraq was released the previous year.

Caroline lectures at a number of British universities. Her research interests include media and strategic communications, counter-terrorism, nation-branding and conflict. She plans to start a PhD in Diaspora and Consular Diplomacy shortly.
