The Cambridge Theological Federation are very proud to announce that for the second year running students from Anglia Ruskin University's MA Pastoral Theology degree have won the British and Irish Association of Practical Theology MA Dissertation Prize. Congratulations to the joint winners, Peter Gubi and Pauline Reid, for their dissertations entitled respectively: "The similarities and differences between counselling and spiritual accompaniment", and "Bloody Joy: How does the experience of birth and mothering enrich our understanding of priesthood?"

Peter is an Ordinand in the Moravian Church, currently serving two congregations in West Yorkshire. He is a Visiting Fellow at the University of Central Lancashire, and has an academic and practitioner interest in the fields of Counselling and Spiritual Accompaniment.

Pauline says of herself: 'I am a mother, besotted grandmother and priest in charge of six small parishes in Ely Diocese. All of these ways of being are intertwined in the messy reality of the life I share with my husband and our beloved black labrador.'
