Sandra Smith, (Fellow of Robinson College, Cambridge), has won numerous awards for her translation of Suite Française, Némirovsky's unfinished masterpiece discovered 50 years after her death at Auschwitz.
Ms Smith will address the mysteries and misconceptions surrounding the Némirovsky, her attitude toward her Jewish identity and her treatment of the religious and cultural outsider.

The event is a part of cultural event series celebrating 10 year anniversary of the Centre for the Study of Jewish-Christian Relations.
