Jennifer completed her PhD at King's College London in 2012. Her dissertation, entitled 'Reading Shakespeare Through Collaboration: Agency, Authority and Textual Space in Shakespearean Drama, 1594-1632' focused on textual interaction between Shakespeare and the printers and publishers who produced the early editions of his plays. Her research interests include the plays of Shakespeare and his contemporaries, editorial theory and practice, early modern printing and publication, and history of the book (particularly issues involving electronic dissemination of texts). She has taught seminars on early modern literature, Shakespeare, book history and poetry.

She is currently co-authoring a monograph entitled Shakespeare in London with Hannah Crawforth and Sarah Dustagheer to be published by Arden in 2014 and co-editing Edward III for the Internet Shakespeare Editions with Sonia Massai.

As Research Fellow for The Complete Works of James Shirley, Jennifer is helping prepare the first electronic, old-spelling editions of Shirley's published works and providing bibliographical support to the general editors of the scholarly edition of The Complete Works forthcoming from Oxford University Press in 2015.
