Sarah Fitt is Course Group Leader for English Language and Intercultural Communication and she teaches modules in English Language, English Language Teaching, English for Academic Purposes and Applied Linguistics on the MA. She is also Deputy Director of Undergraduate Studies for ALSS.
Sarah is an Applied Linguist who is interested in research in the areas of semantics, language change, sociolinguistics, second language acquisition, discourse analysis, the influence of motivation and the age factor in the second language acquisition process as well as culture, identity and intercultural issues within Higher Education. Sarah is also interested in ELT methodology, teacher training and foreign language learning.
