Dr Julia Swindells recently co-edited five volumes of eighteenth-century women's theatrical memoirs, housed in the Chawton House library for over 200 years. Women's Theatrical Memoirs, (published by Pickering and Chatto, 2008), included writings by Sophia Baddeley, Leah Sumbel, George Anne Bellamy, Ann Catley and Elizabeth Billington.
