Film Studies lecturer explores visual narratives

Dr Nina Lübbren
Dr Nina Lübbren, Senior Lecturer in Film Studies, recently announced two new pieces of research output in the field of visual narratives.

The first is an essay entitled 'Narratives of Rural life', contributed to the exhibition catalogue 'Dutch Utopia' (ed. Holly McCullough and Annette Stott). The exhibition will open on 2 October 2009 at the Telfair Museum of Art in Savannah, Georgia.

The second is a lecture on 'Stories and Landscapes: Nineteenth-Century Paintings in the Fitzwilliam Museum.' This will be held at the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge on 30 October 2009 at 1.15pm as part of the University of Cambridge's Festival of Ideas. The event is open to all, free of charge.

On top of this research activity, Nina has also been recently appointed as external examiner in Art & Design for the University of Hertfordshire.
