International Fellowship Successes in English
Colleagues working on the AHRC-funded Complete Works of James Shirley project have been awarded two distinguished fellowships. Dr Alison Searle has won a Katharine F. Pantzer Jr. Fellowship in Descriptive Bibliography at Harvard University. Professor Eugene Giddens has won a Carl and Lily Pforzheimer Foundation Curatorial Endowment Fellowship to the University of Texas at Austin.
These fellowships pay for Alison and Eugene to undertake research and collaboration at Harvard and Texas. Both institutions hold large collections of James Shirley materials, so the fellowships will make an invaluable contribution to the project.
