ECFM Professor keynote speaker at conference

Professor Mary Joannou was a keynote speaker at 'Re-Reading the 1950s,' an interdisciplinary conference held at Leeds Metropolitan University November 29 2008. Her paper's focus was on women with experience of living in the colonies: Muriel Spark, Doris Lessing, Kamala Markandaya, Attia Hosain and Rumer Godden.
