Eastern Europe, Childhood and the Holocaust film screenings

The Department of English, Communication, Film and Media (in association with Campus Cinema and the Childhood and Youth Research Institute) presents a short season of films on Eastern Europe, Childhood and the Holocaust.
The screenings will take place at 18.00 in LAB 003* and will be introduced by Professor Rowland Wymer with a short discussion after the film. Admission is free, a....
John Burnside wins TS Eliot and Forward Poetry Prizes for 'Black Cat Bone'

John Burnside, former CCAT student and Anglia Ruskin University Hon D.Litt, was named winner of this year's T S Eliot Prize for Poetry for his collection 'Black Cat Bone' - just three months on from winning the Forward Prize for the same work. John is only the second poet to have achieved this double accolade for the same book, the first being Sean O'Brien in 2007.

Each semester the Campus Cinema committee, formed of Film Studies students, programmes films around a new theme.
The theme for Semester 2 2011-12 is 'Sex, Drugs, and Rock 'n Roll'. In addition to the billed film, we will show short films, host special events, and invite guest speakers.
All screenings take place at 18.00 in LAB 026. Admission is free, and ever....
