Following his work on 'Berberian Sound Studio' and 'Storage 24', Senior Lecturer in Film & Video Tim Sidell has recently completed a 4-week shoot as Director of Photography on a new feature film for Lionsgate. Going by the working title of I Am Soldier, the film follows two soldiers through the selection process for the SAS, and was shot mostly on Ministry of Defence-owned land in North Yorkshire.

I Am Soldier was written and directed by Ronnie Thompson, produced by Tea Shop Films and stars Tom Hughes, Noel Clarke, George Russo and Alex Reid. It is due for release in cinemas this summer.
