Max commended in YCN Awards
Congratulations to graduating BA (Hons) Illustration student Max Machen who, as well as receiving a Highly Commended in the recent Macmillan Awards, has also been announced as Commended in this year's Young Creatives Network (YCN) Student Awards.
All Commended submissions were recognised as being of outstanding quality by the judges, and the contributing students will be invited to the YCN Student Awards Ceremony in September 2013, with their work showcased in the upcoming YCN Student Awards Annual and on the YCN website.
Max won his award for a submission to the Royal Court Theatre brief (pictured), which charged him with creating 'an engaging, inspiring and original campaign that tells the story of the plays before they are presented onstage - that results in raising interest, enthusiasm and general awareness to our theatre audience.'
Chris Draper, Course Leader for BA (Hons) Illustration, said: "This is a nationally important award, so great news for Max, the course and the school."
