Congratulations to BA (Hons) Photography graduate Sophie Ellen Lachowycz, who has achieved the second place prize in theprintspace's recent fashion photography competition.

Sophie won the prize for her piece 'Sur Les Pointes' (pictured), which was originally devised as part of her Major Project and displayed at the CSA Degree Show 2011. She will receive three 20"x24" prints of her work from theprintspace in recognition of her achievement. The competition was judged by photographers Miss Aniela and Lucia O'Connor-McCarthy.

A new competition is available every month on theprintspace's blogspot, so it's one for any of our students with an interest in photography to keep an eye on.
