Interior Design Course Receives Commision to Redesign School Nursery

The BA (Hons) Interior Design Course has been approached by Owain Richards, Headteacher of Cliff Lane Primary School in Ipswich, to see if any of the students would be interested in re-designing their nursery.

Having discovered that this is the only interior design degree course in East Anglia, he was delighted to hear that three first year students are willing to present some ideas. The commission will be undertaken during the summer recess as an extra-curricular activity, as well as being an opportunity to provide a design service to the region.

*UPDATE*
Tony Sully, Pathway Leader for the BA (Hons) Interior Design course, together with students Kay Morland and Gary Hall, visited Cliff Lane Primary School in Ipswich on 3rd June and met with the Headteacher Owain Richards to be briefed on the re-design of the nursery section of the school.

Preliminary designs will be presented to the school on 23rd of June and it is hoped that the work will be completed over the summer holidays.
