Murray Grigor's 'Infinite Space' to screen at Anglia Ruskin University
Date: Monday 7 December 2009
Time: 6.15pm
Venue: Ruskin 203, Anglia Ruskin University, East Road, Cambridge
Infinite Space, a new documentary feature film, traces the lifelong quest of visionary genius John Lautner to create "architecture that has no beginning and no end." It is the story of brilliance and of a complicated life - and the most sensual architecture of the 20th century.
Director Murray Grigor is a filmmaker, writer, and exhibition curator and is internationally renowned for his films about architecture and architects. Join him and cinematographer Hamid Shams for the UK's first ever screening of the film.
Tea and coffee will be available in Ruskin Gallery from 5.45pm, with the screening at 6.15pm in Ruskin 203. This will be followed by drinks and nibbles back in the Gallery.
Places are limited. Please RSVP to Sarah Jones by Wednesday 2 December.
