Mick Gowar, Senior Lecture in Contextual Studies at the Cambridge School of Art, is to take part in the inter-disciplinary seminar 'Fin de Siècle - The Culture of Crisis' organised by The Cambridge University History Society, Clio. The discussion will explore the fin-de-siècle from a range of national and cultural perspectives, from Russia to Austria, from art to philosophy.

Whatever your own subject, this is an ideal opportunity to learn about a cultural movement from which the modern age was born, a time when ideologies from Zionism to Fascism were first formulated and many commentators lamented the degeneracy of modernity.
